We present the latest quality test of our pellets. These are the results of an analysis of a sample of 6 mm wood pellets carried out by Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – Poznański Instytut Technologiczny.

Sample Description
The commissioning party described the wood pellet sample as pellets made from production by-product sawdust free from chemical contamination. This type of material is particularly important from an environmental perspective, as it ensures clean combustion and minimises emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.

Sample number
The tested sample was labelled 18.04.24-PW-POLITRADE-A1-6mm. This number allows the sample to be uniquely identified in the laboratory register, which is crucial for maintaining analytical procedures and reporting results.
Sampling and Delivery Procedure
Sampling was carried out by the commissioning party, ensuring that the sample is representative of the batch of pellets produced at a particular time and place. These samples were then delivered to the laboratory of Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz – Poznański Instytut Technologiczny. The sample was delivered on 22 April 2024. Accurate dating is important for maintaining continuity of testing and for any future reference.
Laboratory analysis
The laboratory of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology carries out a range of analyses to assess the quality of wood pellets. These tests analyse, among other things:
- Moisture content – important for combustion efficiency.
- Ash content – affects emissions and boiler cleanliness.
- Calorific value – crucial for assessing energy performance.
- Presence of chemical contaminants – ensures compliance with environmental standards.
The importance of testing
A detailed analysis of a wood pellet sample is essential for assessing its quality and compliance with standards. Manufacturers can use the test results to improve their production process, while consumers can use them to choose the best products available on the market.
Summary
The analysis of wood pellet sample 18.04.24-PW-POLITRADE-A1-6mm, delivered to the laboratory of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology, is a step towards ensuring a high-quality renewable fuel. Tests such as this allow the continued promotion and development of sustainable energy sources, which are crucial to our planet’s future.
