We are currently seeing significant differences in the price of pellets per 1 tonne on the Polish market. You have no doubt noticed this. As Customers, you often ask us why Feniks Pellets Premium, despite its stable price, is sometimes more expensive than pellets offered online or by smaller distributors. This article aims to explain this dilemma, as well as the risks faced by pellet boiler users who burn poor-quality pellets from an unknown source.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good pellet quality is crucial and affects virtually every aspect of heating: efficiency, safety, system performance and the lifespan of heating appliances. However, as with almost any product, good quality comes at a price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why? Because the high-quality base material \u2013 softwood shavings generated during wood processing at specialist sawmills \u2013 must be checked, selected and laboratory-tested to guarantee consistently high quality, and the costs of producing and verifying it affect the final purchase cost for the pellet manufacturer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A high-quality pellet producer such as ourselves implements a range of procedures to guarantee the quality of pellet fuel. These include maintaining the appropriate purity of the material (for which contracting trusted domestic suppliers of the raw material and proper storage are crucial), controlling its moisture content through drying in specialised dryers and, finally, continuously testing every batch in the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire process described here involves long-term contracts with proven suppliers and specific costs incurred to maintain quality, as well as certification of the finished product, which in our case is Feniks Pellets Premium and Gold. This means that production costs remain constant or nearly constant over the longer term, and the final product price does not fluctuate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
