The period 2026\u20132028 will be particularly important, as investment priorities, technology choices and the future of existing generating units are decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, solid biofuels \u2013 including pellets and wood chips \u2013 are an important part of the transition. Their greatest advantage is their ability to provide stable energy production and support energy security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the sector\u2019s development will be constrained by biomass availability, regulations and market factors.
